Warning: extremely long post ahead!
Our sweet Adeline is one very blessed little girl! We've been celebrating her birthday for a week already! Last Thursday, we flew up to MN to celebrate her birthday with our family and friends there.
Birthday Celebration, Part 1
Trish and Brynn picked us up from the airport and brought us to my parent's house where we celebrated Addy's birthday!

Birthday Celebration, Part 2
On Friday, Addy did a little shoveling in the morning!

Then Michelle and Alex came over to celebrate her birthday with her! The kids sure had fun playing together, Alex is so gentle with "baby Addy"! I love that so many of Addy's friends call her "baby Addy". I wonder how long that will stick? :)

Addy got her very own "Jenny" doll. She came with a story book, too! By the way, Alex picked out the wrapping paper and wrapped her present all by himself! Isn't that just so sweet?
Addy also got a little chef's set from Aunt Diane! She loves it. It's perfect since Addy is interested in "helping" us in the kitchen more and more these days!

Then on Friday night we had an Elmo party for Addy! It was nice to see so many people we hadn't seen since last summer!

The Elmo "cake" was actually cupcakes with an unbelievable amount of frosting on top!

Addy's friend, Nina, was there which was fun for the two of them to play again. Addy has officially passed Nina up in size! Nina is 10 months older and a little peanut compared to our top-of-the-growth-charts big girl! The cupcakes and balloons were a big hit!

Such a fun Elmo party!
Birthday Celebration, Part 3
Saturday morning we went to Grandpa & Grandma E's house to celebrate with them and aunts, uncles, and cousins!

Grandma figured we'd have lots of birthday cake, so she made another one of Addy's favorites...pumpkin pie! It was delicious! One pie had a "2" and the other pie had an "A" on it made of whip cream!

Addy got so many awesome gifts! The first one she opened was an Elmo camera. She took several pictures with it right away! One of her cousins commented, "this is going to take a long time!". So true. :)

Eventually, she moved on and opened her other presents! She opened a word book that has English and Spanish names for everything! She also got clothes, a Wiggles movie, Minnie Mouse dress up dress, and tools! Lots and lots of really neat gifts.

She enjoyed the cards, too! One of her Minnie Mouse cards sang "Happy Birthday"!

The rest of the afternoon/evening was spent hanging out and playing with the cousins. Well, except for her 3 hour nap!

Of course, a picture of the cousins together!

Sunday we flew home. We ended up going through Memphis to get home. Addy and I got a seat, but Steven didn't and had to wait for the next flight. Addy and I had a 4 hour layover in Memphis, well, Steven joined us for the last 1 1/2 hours. So, what did we do while we waited for Daddy? We found some steps and she went up and down a few hundred times!

Then, she really liked the moving walk way! I lost count how many times we rode it. Back and forth, back and forth. A lot.

It's short, but you get the idea how much she loved it!!! And, yes, I did teach her to run the wrong way on the walk way. :)
We all made it home safely, together, and we had a great weekend!!! Thanks to everyone who celebrated Addy's birthday with us! We are so blessed!
Birthday Celebration, Part 4
Today it was Ms. Wendy's turn to celebrate Addy's birthday! Steven worked last night, so he slept today and I worked today. Bummer for us, but Addy didn't notice! She had a great day with Ms. Wendy. They went to Chuck-E-Cheese! This was Addy's first time there, and she LOVED it! Wendy said she just had a ball. She rode the rides, played games, and enjoyed the show! Addy's friend, Tyler, and his mom met them there. Then Chris, Wendy's husband, surprised Addy and joined them for lunch, too! Chris is another one of Addy's favorite people. It's funny, if he's around, no one else matters! Here's some pictures of their day:

Wow! Thanks Ms. Wendy and Mr. Chris for such a fun day for Addy!
Oh, and before I go...one more birthday present Addy got while we were in MN was a scooter! We didn't put it together until we got home, so this was Addy's first time on it on Monday:

Okay, so one more birthday party for Addy coming up this weekend...stay tuned!
